  • Our apparel tapes, apron ties, and other narrow fabric products are commonly used in the assembly of dozens of fashion pieces, such as belts and watchband accents, apron ties, luggage and bag straps, backpack handles, and more. Other common apparel applications include cuff tape, tailor tape, zipper tape, tag tape and garment seam reinforcement tape. Tactical

Wayne Mills manufactures a range of tapes in different widths, perfect for use on tactical gear.

Webbing

Webbings are woven to be strong, in either flat or bound tubular styles. This durable fabric comes in varying widths and are commonly used in a diverse array of applications. We manufacture light webbings in both cotton and polyester.

Wrap Tape

Wrap tapes are heavy weight cotton twill tapes used in the rubber roller manufacturing process.  They also work very well as a heavy duty binding on specialty uniforms and other commercial binding applications.

Wicking

Cotton wicking narrow fabrics are used in oil lamps. This tape is also used in many different applications and is considered a good general purpose cotton webbing.

Tailor Tape

Tailor tape is a general purpose tape used to reinforce seams in the sewing process when manufacturing clothing.

Shoulder Tape

Shoulder tape is commonly used as reinforcement along the shoulderline in the sewing process when creating a shirt. We offer a variety of cotton tapes that fall into this category.

Safety

Safety tape offers high visibility trim option.  It is available in both polyester and Protex when fire safety is of concern.  These tapes are often accompanied by reflective lamination and/or adhesive extrusion to exceed the demands of any safety project.

Printing Press Tape

We offer a cotton twill tape in the printing press tape category with multiple width and finishing options available.

MIL-DTL-5038 K

MIL-T-5038 is a military specification that pertains to nylon reinforcement tape and webbing, often used for ties and binding purposes. These tapes are light and durable and perform well when used in many applications.

MIL-DTL-43566 D

Wayne Mills offers fabrics that meet military specification ML-T-43566 T1 C3. These fabrics are general use, but are often used in clothing worn by military personnel. We offer a selection of cotton webbings that meet this specification.

MIL Spec A-A 52071 A

These cotton twill tapes meet MIL Spec A-A-52071 A, Type I.  Typical uses include lining the edges of structures such as tents and other structures housing soldiers and government personnel.

Medical Gauze

Wayne Mills manufactures several widths of narrow medical grade gauze. This item also works very well as an inexpensive general purpose tape.

Drawstring

Wayne Mills produces a large variety of tapes used as drawstrings in apparel, medical, and specialty bags and covers to name a few.  We offer cotton, polyester and nylon tapes for use in this product category.  Some are specialty woven tapes that were designed to hold a knot.

Cuff Tape

Cuff fabric tape is used for collars, waistbands, and the cuffs in clothing. The ribs of the fabric create a structure that is perfect for fashion and apparel applications.

Apron Tie

Wayne Mills offers a broad variety of cotton and polyester apron ties. Our Heavy apron tape and cotton webbing provide excellent choices for most apron tie applications.

"A" Tape

These lightweight, plain weave cotton garment tapes are used in manufacturing clothing. They are also versatile, and make for a good general purpose tape.
