Wayne Mills manufactures multiple cloth binding, webbing, and tape products that are commonly used in applications such as book binding, carpet edging, boat cover binding, and flag binding. Many of our stock items made from cotton, polyester, and nylon perform beautifully in a variety of binding applications.

  • Binding products can be enhanced with our dye-to-match offering. Our webbing materials come with finish options including abrasion-resistant, preshrunk, water-repellent, or even custom coating to fit your specific application. Further enhance your product through our variety of service options, such as PSA extrusion and other custom extruded hot-melt adhesive coatings.

MIL-W-4088 K

Mil-W-4088K is a military specification for high strength nylon webbing and reinforcement tape. It is an excellent choice for military and aerospace binding applications.

Wayne Mills manufactures a range of tapes in different widths, perfect for use on tactical gear.

Commercial & Industrial Bindings

Commercial and Industrial bindings are applied for strong edging, using sewing or adhesive methods.

Flame Retardant Trim

Our flame retardant trim is woven from inherently flame-retardant yarn. It is used in many applications where flame retardancy is needed.

Webbing

Webbings are woven to be strong, in either flat or bound tubular styles. This durable fabric comes in varying widths and are commonly used in a diverse array of applications. We manufacture light webbings in both cotton and polyester.

Wrap Tape

Wrap tapes are heavy weight cotton twill tapes used in the rubber roller manufacturing process.  They also work very well as a heavy duty binding on specialty uniforms and other commercial binding applications.

Tailor Tape

Tailor tape is a general purpose tape used to reinforce seams in the sewing process when manufacturing clothing.

Safety

Safety tape offers high visibility trim option.  It is available in both polyester and Protex when fire safety is of concern.  These tapes are often accompanied by reflective lamination and/or adhesive extrusion to exceed the demands of any safety project.

Printing Press Tape

We offer a cotton twill tape in the printing press tape category with multiple width and finishing options available.

MIL-DTL-5038 K

MIL-T-5038 is a military specification that pertains to nylon reinforcement tape and webbing, often used for ties and binding purposes. These tapes are light and durable and perform well when used in many applications.

MIL-DTL-43566 D

Wayne Mills offers fabrics that meet military specification ML-T-43566 T1 C3. These fabrics are general use, but are often used in clothing worn by military personnel. We offer a selection of cotton webbings that meet this specification.

MIL Spec A-A 52071 A

These cotton twill tapes meet MIL Spec A-A-52071 A, Type I.  Typical uses include lining the edges of structures such as tents and other structures housing soldiers and government personnel.

Ironer Tape

Ironer tape is used to guide fabrics through a series of steps in the cleaning process used in many commercial cleaning operations.

Flag Tape

Flag tape is used along the connecting edges of flags or tapestries for reinforcement and strength, to prevent fraying.

Carpet Binding

Quality carpet binding tapes provide a clean border to any cut carpet. These tapes may be found in rugs and many kinds of carpet, including in homes, cars and even boats and airplanes.

Apron Tie

Wayne Mills offers a broad variety of cotton and polyester apron ties. Our Heavy apron tape and cotton webbing provide excellent choices for most apron tie applications.
