Mid Weight Tapes & Webbing

Mid weight tapes and webbing are narrow fabrics with a thickness between 0.020" and 0.030", versatile enough to suit the majority of applications. This weight category includes the majority of our stock offerings. Our mid weight tapes are extremely versatile and work well in many applications. Polyester and Nylon grosgrains, medical gauze, carpet bindings and high visibility safety trims are all examples of medium weight tapes produced here at Wayne Mills.

• Choosing Mid Weight Tapes and Webbing

  Mid weight tapes strike a balance between the flexibility of lighter fabrics and the strength of heavier ones, which is why they suit the widest range of projects. This weight is a good fit when you need a fabric durable enough to hold up in use but still pliable enough to sew, fold, or bind cleanly. If your project calls for something thinner and more delicate, or thicker and more heavy-duty, we also offer lightweight and heavyweight narrow fabrics.
